The Slab Lab

Hi Clint!

Before I go any further with this, I found a few things I want to make sure you're aware of.

There are already several businesses using Slab Lab / The Slab Lab in the card and collectibles world, and there are also U.S. SLAB LAB trademark filings involving trading-card display products.

Are you already aware of these?

I'm not saying any of this necessarily prevents you from using the name. I just don't want you putting a bunch of work into a brand before you know what else is already out there.

— Uncle Dan

P.S. Yep, this is your domain if you want it. 😁

Until Paige gets here…

For now, message me below. Soon I'm bringing Paige Turner here — yep, the same Paige from our text chats.

Paige is on Uncle Dan's dime. 😁 No AI subscriptions, tokens, or other nonsense for you to worry about.

I'm also giving you space on my professional developer platform at Hetzner for your website, files, databases and services.

The goal: you tell Paige what you want and she can build it, organize it and take care of where everything goes. But you're always in control — she can show and explain everything, handle everything, or anything in between. If you want to build it yourself, Paige can work right alongside you.

And you're helping me, too…

The Slab Lab gives me a real-world place to dogfood AI that helps build and maintain its own website through ordinary conversation. Instead of Uncle Dan testing Uncle Dan's inventions on Uncle Dan forever. 😂

You get a website and Paige. I get a real human telling Paige what he actually wants. Everybody wins — except possibly my electric meter. 😁

A family note

Anything you learn from me or gain access to through my technology that isn't public should be treated as proprietary to our immediate family — and of course that includes Sierra. You're welcome to use it to help yourself, your business, and hopefully make some money with it. That's part of why I'm sharing it with you.

Use the tools with customers, business associates, and in your AI classes. Just keep them as users of what we're building, not insiders to our proprietary technology, methods, or trade secrets.

Think of the underlying technology, methods, trade secrets, and private know-how as part of our family's estate that we're building together: use it, benefit from it, improve it—but guard it.

What's ours stays in the family; what we build with it can go out and do great things. 😁 — Uncle Dan
